Hello!

I am an ambitious ceramicist, a mediocre philosopher, an average cyclist, and an alright human being, according to my mother.

Studying Art & Philosophy has taught me to slow down and look at the world properly. I never grew out of running around the fields, climbing trees, and making mud castles. I look at the world by experiencing it through the movement of my body within a landscape. When I am climbing a mountain or swimming in a river, I pay honest attention to the materials the world consists of.

Within my art practice as a ceramicist and a sculptor, I join my experiences with the history of the land. I celebrate the beauty of differences and repetition occurring in the natural world by using foraged materials within my work. From walking, through foraging to making; one process leads to another. I try to give back to the natural world what it has given me by letting materials lead the process of my craft.
